About Jane

*Jane Lane is a songwriter and composer who is open to commissions,
collaborations and other types of music project.
*She is happy to provide piano music at events, regular dates or one-offs.
*She enjoys and has experience of working musically with people of all ages
*She is multilingual and is open to multicultural projects.
*She has spent much of her life living in a studio environment, contributing to
its musical needs.

Not to be confused with "Being Jane Lane!", Jane writes in a wide variety of styles
and is based in New Brighton, Wallasey. Born in Birmingham, she has spent
more than a decade in the Middle East pursuing her second love, Arabic Language
and Culture. She has also spent many years in a remote studio location in Wales,
followed by some time in Spain.

During 2015-2018 Jane was involved in writing for two music projects, these being
the Henry's Machine series and the Hookstick Album, "Refugee", both sung by
Kerri-Anne Collins, with some HM tracks by Jenni Lane. Since then she has been
involved in writing some material for the prog inspired Fluance Album "Lunacy",
and she continues to write for Fluance. She has also written soundtrack and
neo-classical music over the years.
She is currently working on the "Misinjin" project which includes
elements of naive sci fi and futurist themes. This is anticipated to be released by September 2025.

and other sources.

Very new to New Brighton, Wallasey, she is currently working on a new album
reflecting the changes the past few years have brought her and the massive impact
of the move and the new world on the banks of the Mersey.
